Our Prepress Department offers complete in-house design, page layout, type-setting, proofing, and output capabilities to a file, to a proof, or to our computer-to-plate system. Florida Sun Printing is prepared to process or to convert nearly any file type that you may use for a project: accurately and on-time.

Our Prepress team is available to assist you as much or as little as you require to streamline your production operation from type-setting and design through proofing. We recommend virtual proofing to hard copy proofing to same time and expense. Through virtual prepress proofing, you can review your proofs on-line, at your computer. You no longer have to worry about proof storage, proofs lost in transit as well as the expense of shipping proofs back and forth.

Graphic Design Software & Capabilities

We are ready to accept and process files from both Macintosh and Windows based platforms. We support most desktop publishing software packages including InDesign, Pagemaker, Quark, Illustrator, Freehand, Acrobat, Photoshop, and others. Please call us for compatibility information.

We use BluMonkee photo enhancing software for both color and monochromatic photos. This software which is calibrated to our printing process enhances the photo to print sharper and crisper. It treats each photo individually to produce crisper and clearer printed photos.

File Sharing & Transfer

Files can be sent to us via our FTP site or email. Or, you send us a CD, DVD, or a flash drive or just about any other media.
